To Our valued Current & Potential Municipal Clients
Effective immediately, Performance Concepts Consulting is committing to an 18-month transformation into a carbon neutral consultancy. Across Canada our municipal clients are declaring a climate change emergency. Municipal governments are at the forefront of climate change mitigation in Canada; as they strive deliver essential services in an environmentally sustainable fashion. Performance Concepts recognizes your leadership and we are stepping up to do our part. Our transformation to a carbon neutral consultancy will include the following action items:
- We will purchase carbon-neutral electricity from Bull Frog to serve our HQ located in the Greater Toronto Area. Please refer to www.bullfrogpower.com for added information.
- When air travel is required to serve our clients, Performance Concepts will purchase carbon offsets from Less Emissions. Less Emissions is the official carbon offset partner for Air Canada. Please refer to www.Less.ca for more information. Our carbon offset documentation will be provided to every client as part of our invoicing information for each engagement requiring air travel.
- During 2020 our small automobile “fleet” will be upgraded to hybrid and/or electric vehicles for all southern Ontario municipal clients. When possible any car rentals for client work outside of southern Ontario will minimize emissions by opting for hybrid vehicles. We will utilize transit instead of driving an automobile wherever practical (e.g. work undertaken for the City of Toronto).
